Registration process


SDA and the Candidate

SDA remains the first ever truly specialised agency specifically dealing with Presentation, Programme Planning, Airtime Management and related areas of broadcast and content delivery.

We want candidates that are passionate about television and programming, enthusiastic, dedicated, confident and willing. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, the same criteria applies.

Our clients include the best known names in media as well as some channels and companies you may not yet have heard of.

The process

When you send us your CV we will review it and come back to you to let you know whether or not we think we can help. If we can, we will arrange a time for you to come in and see us. This will not be a formal interview, but more of a chat to find out more about you, what you have done, your skills, and what sort of thing you are looking for. It will help if you think about these points before you come. If we don't invite you in for interview it will be because we do not feel that we can help you. It is not a reflection on your abilities, but to ensure we do not waste your time or ours.

Sometimes, if nothing suitable is available or if your areas of interest and skills fall somewhat outside our brief we may just have a comprehensive chat on the phone, and then meet later if something appropriate comes up.

Once you have registered with us, we will match your profile to the jobs we are handling. This is an ongoing process which may take a day, or, more likely several weeks or even months. It will all depend on current trends in the market and the sort of job you are looking for.

Once a job comes up, we will send you a job specification (if one exists) and handle any interview arrangements etc.

Whatever happens, we will do our very best to fulfil your expectations and keep you informed about progress on any jobs we have put you forward for. Wherever possible, we will give feedback following interviews.
